Chocolate pudding from a box just doesn’t measure up to its homemade counterpart! If you’ve always wanted to make homemade pudding from scratch, we have you covered with this quick and easy recipe.
The key is to consistently stir the mixture over medium heat. Once it’s chilled, you can top it off with whipped cream, fresh fruit, chocolate chips or anything your heart desires. You may have to double the recipe for this one!
- 700 ml of fresh milk
- 4 tbsp of cacao powder
- 3/4 cup of granulated sugar 2 tbsp of all purpose flour
- 2 tsp of vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp of butter
How to Make Chocolate Pudding
1- In a deep pan, combine 700 ml of fresh milk with 4 tbsp of cacao powder, 34 cup of granulated sugar and 2 tbsp of all purpose flour.
2- Cook by mixing with a wooden spoon until thickens.
3- Take the pan off the stove top and add in 2 tsp of vanilla sugar and 1 tbsp of butter.
4- Pass the pudding into cups and refrigerate after coming to room temperature.
5- Decorate as desired and serve.
